Sr. Procurement Manager, Surface Transportation Procurement

In this role, you will be in charge of sourcing line haul (transportation) capacity for Amazon Freight business.
You will define the pan\-EU and UK procurement strategy and orchestrate the execution levers to ensure sufficient capacity, at the right performance and cost.
You will look for synergies across Procurement, Product and Program team and develop efficient and standardized sourcing mechanisms.
You will work with internal stakeholders and drive accountability to elevate Amazon Freight value proposition to 3rd party line haul carriers.
Key job responsibilities
- Line haul capacity sourcing via tender and negotiaiton levers.
- Defining and executing procurement strategies for Amazon Freight business across Europe and the UK.
- Co\-defining goals for the category you are in charge of in alignment with Amazon Freight leadership.
- Influencing internally to standardize program, product and processes. Including synergies across Procurement and Tech.
You are part of the ATS Operations Middle Mile organization, within its Procurement team. You report to the Head of Procurement and have direct ownership on the Amazon Freight procurement deliverables.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis

- Master's degree
- Experience in transportation and supply chain
- AI prompting and coding
