We are recruiting for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to join acharity in Sutton, supporting children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) .
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist looking to work within a specialist multidisciplinary team, delivering high\-quality, person\-centred interventions that support communication, participation and independence.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
- Manage a specialist PMLD caseload.
- Assess, diagnose and deliver evidence\-based speech and language therapy interventions.
- Develop individualised communication programmes.
- Work collaboratively with families, education staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), reviews and clinical documentation.
- Provide advice, training and support to colleagues and carers.

- HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist.
- Experience working with children and young people with PMLD and complex communication needs.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
