We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join a well\-established, supportive and experienced Speech \& Language Therapy Team. The position is a full time, permanent role.

The successful candidate will work alongside other Speech and Language therapists to assess and treat children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs.

We are looking to recruit a self\-motivated, enthusiastic and organised Speech and Language Therapists to join our well established paediatric service in BCUHB East IHC, covering Wrexham and Flintshire.

This role will be working with children across a variety of settings. You will work as part of an integrated team with specialist therapists, you will be required to provide assessment, advice and therapy to children with speech, language or communication needs. You will work with children, their families and supporting agencies.

We have a whole service approach, which means that whichever team you are based in, you will have strong links and access to the support of friendly, experienced SLTs and TIs working in all areas of paediatric Speech and Language Therapy. We are a forward thinking department and you will need to show flexibility and innovation and share in the team’s passion for delivering quality patient led care.

We offer a comprehensive and structured induction to all our new starters followed by high quality clinical supervision, regular team meetings and exciting CPD opportunities. We pride ourselves on our strong NQP support network, with colleagues with extensive skills and experience around you to help you develop as an SLT. You will receive regular management and clinical supervision.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
