Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference in cardiac and endocrine care?
Join our dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting patients across our Cardiac Care and Endocrinology wards, with additional involvement in cardiac rehabilitation services.
About the Role:
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in assessing, treating, educating, and planning discharges for patients with a range of cardiac and endocrine conditions. You will work closely alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, including Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Therapy Assistants, to deliver holistic, patient\-centred care across both inpatient wards and cardiac rehabilitation settings.
This role also includes delivering education sessions within cardiac rehabilitation classes, supporting patients to better understand their condition, promote self\-management, and optimise recovery and long\-term health outcomes.
You will have the opportunity to take on a senior therapy position, contributing to the ongoing development of cardiac and endocrine therapy services to enhance patient outcomes and experience.

Undertake assessments, clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients with a wide range of problems within cardiac care/endocrinology and cardiac Rehabilitation. These patients often have complex and / or chronic presentations.
To work as an autonomous practitioner to undertake a significant specialist clinical caseload, working without direct supervision.
To take a role in supervision and teaching of junior qualified therapists and assistants.
To demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to service development and monitoring of standards of practice.
To work flexibly over 7 day period, as the service require.
