We’re seeking a new colleague with a solid IT foundation and preferably a background in finance to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Process Consultants, Solutions Architect, and Software Developers to deliver innovative IT solutions that supports our extensive financial setup in Salling Group. You’ll play a key role in developing complex solutions which will support users in both Denmark, Poland and Germany. You will be able to participate in and drive small and medium sized projects in the team and contribute to all project phases.

Our main tasks and products

The IT Finance team supports and develops various financial processes, ensuring smooth operations across invoicing, vendor payments, compliance with legislation, reporting, and much more. As a Solution Consultants, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing complex finance solutions and collaborating closely with the IT Finance Solution Architect, Business Analysts, other IT teams as well as stakeholders.

  • Your role

  • Act as a link between our business stakeholders and Process Specialists, Solution Architect, and offshore Software Developers to ensure solution development and process optimization.

  • Drive and contribute to all phases within IT projects in the team and collaboration with other teams and stakeholders

  • Define technical requirements, outcomes, and scope to ensure smooth handover to developers

  • Challenge technical/business requirements to enhance quality and value of our IT deliveries as well as identifying the optimal solution which solves problem.

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical professionals and end users in different business units.

You will take part in identifying ways to optimize the finance area through AI and Robotic Process Automation and implementation of SAP Fiori to our business user.
  • Your experience \& personal profile
We are looking for a technically skilled individual with hands\-on experience in SAP ECC or S/4\. It will be beneficial if you also have previous experience with Fiori or Signavio and process optimization. You are eager to use your expertise to shape IT development while understanding the business processes our solutions support. You thrive in a collaborative team environment, bring a proactive attitude, and can independently drive tasks. With a business\-oriented mindset and a passion for IT and Finance, you are naturally curious and always seeking to grow and improve.

You like change and thrive in a dynamic environment. You strive to improve, are result\-oriented and work well within a team. You are service\-minded, a strong communicator and fluent in English both written and spoken.

You should reside in the vicinity of our headquarters in Aarhus and be willing to travel to our Shared Service Center in Poland.
