Join the IT Sales team in Salling Group, where we are looking for a Solution Architect to take ownership of our sales domain architecture and drive development across payments, POS, self\-checkout, mobile POS, and pricing \& campaign platforms.
In this role, you will be a key contributor to shaping our omnichannel landscape—ensuring scalable, robust, and future\-proof solutions across all checkout and digital touchpoints. You will play a central role in aligning business needs, IT strategy, and technical execution across countries and teams.

Our main tasks and products
The Salling Group Tech Sales team develops and operates critical sales systems and processes, including payments, POS, self\-checkout, mobile POS, and pricing \& campaign modules across all checkout channels and digital platforms.
We focus on delivering seamless customer experiences across stores and e\-commerce, ensuring consistency in pricing, campaigns, and user journeys across all channels.
As a Solution Architect, you will take a leading role in defining and driving the architecture for these solutions, ensuring alignment across systems, teams, and markets (Denmark, Poland, and Germany).

- Your role
- Define and drive solution architecture across payment, POS, self\-checkout, mobile POS, and pricing \& campaign systems
- Act as the technical authority within the Salling Group Tech Sales domain, guiding solution design and architectural decisions
- Ensure alignment between business needs, IT strategy, and technical implementation
- Lead and support projects by setting architectural direction and ensuring high\-quality delivery
- Collaborate closely with Solution consultants, Developers, Process Consultants /Experts, and stakeholders across the organization
- Drive standardization and scalability across omnichannel solutions
- Identify opportunities for improving performance, stability, and customer experience across all checkout solutions
- Your experience \& personal profile
You have a solid understanding of Microservices architecture, API\-based integrations, Event\-driven architectures, Cloud and hybrid environments, Distributed retail systems.
Translating business needs into scalable technical solutions and are comfortable making architectural decisions.
You are proactive, structured, and able to work both strategically and hands\-on. You take ownership and naturally step into a leading role in technical discussions and project execution.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at communicating complex topics clearly to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
