About Energy Concerns
Energy Concerns is a growing renewable energy company specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Air Conditioning.
We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of customer care, technical knowledge and project delivery, and we’re now looking for an experienced Project \& Operations Manager to join our team and help support the next stage of our growth.
This is a senior, hands\-on role for someone who is highly organised, confident dealing with customers, comfortable managing a high workload and able to take ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, commercially aware and proactive — someone who can manage people, customers, priorities and problems without needing constant direction.
The Role
As Project \& Operations Manager, you will play a central role in the day\-to\-day running of the business.
You will work closely with the directors, office team, planners and engineers to ensure enquiries are managed efficiently, projects are properly organised and customers receive a professional and consistent experience throughout their journey with Energy Concerns.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple customer projects at different stages
- Overseeing projects from initial enquiry through to installation and completion
- Liaising directly with customers and providing regular updates
- Coordinating surveys, installations, engineers and internal teams
- Managing diaries, workloads and project timelines
- Ensuring enquiries and customer communications are followed up promptly
- Monitoring CRM pipelines, tasks and outstanding actions
- Identifying potential delays or issues before they affect the customer
- Resolving customer and operational issues when they arise
- Supporting customer consultations and the sales process
- Working alongside our technical team to help customers understand recommended solutions
- Ensuring company procedures and standards are followed
- Delegating work across office and support teams
- Helping improve internal systems and processes as the business grows
- Reporting directly to the directors on project progress, customer issues and operational performance
We are looking for someone with strong previous experience in project management, operations, business management or a senior customer\-facing role.
You will need to be:

- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership

- Able to identify where processes can be improved and help implement changes
Previous experience within any of the following would be highly advantageous:
- Solar PV
- Battery storage
- Renewable energy
- Electrical contracting
- Construction
- Mechanical \& electrical services
- Technical sales
- System design
- Surveying
However, we are also interested in hearing from experienced Project or Operations Managers from other fast\-paced industries who can demonstrate strong organisational, commercial and customer management skills.

Salary
£42,000 – £52,000 per year, depending on experience and capability.
