About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Software QA Engineer to join our Cloud and Platform Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of cloud\-native platforms, infrastructure services, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps releases. You will work closely with developers, platform engineers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to deliver high\-quality solutions in regulated and enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end\-to\-end quality assurance activities across cloud and platform releases.


• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, regression suites, and release validation checklists.


• Execute functional, regression, integration, API, and release testing activities.


• Perform manual testing and defect validation across web applications, APIs, infrastructure components, and Kubernetes\-based platforms.


• Manage defects throughout their lifecycle using Jira, including logging, investigation, retesting, and closure verification.


• Validate CI/CD and GitOps deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, Helm, and Terraform.


• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release readiness reviews, production smoke testing, and post\-release validation.


• Investigate test failures and production incidents using monitoring and observability tools.


• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform reliability, quality standards, and release confidence.


• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within QA and release management processes.

Required Skills \& Experience

• Strong experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.


• Experience with Functional, Regression, Integration, API, and Release Testing.


• Hands\-on experience with Jira for defect and test management.


• Experience validating CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.


• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, cloud\-native platforms, and DevOps practices.


• Experience testing applications hosted on AWS and/or Azure.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
