Meet the Team

Core to the health and growth of Millennium’s business, the Information Technology organization develops flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems, including the next generation of analytical and trading capabilities. Within this organization, the Equities Technology team develops and supports Equity Volatility Risk and P\&L systems that enable Equity Volatility Managers to evaluate risk, manage portfolios, and support trading activity.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement robust risk systems that support Equity Volatility trading strategies


• Build and maintain scalable, high\-performance server\-side applications using Java and Spring Boot


• Build and integrate exotic pricing models to support product pricing and lifecycle management


• Provide Level 3 production support, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and resolution of complex system issues


• Identify system bottlenecks proactively and implement improvements that maintain platform performance and reliability


• Conduct code reviews and implement automated testing to strengthen application quality and reliability


• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in line with software engineering best practices

• Strong Java development experience building scalable, high\-performance systems


• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and its ecosystem for microservices development


• Experience using Python for scripting and automation


• Experience with distributed caching technologies, such as Ignite or similar platforms


• Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Podman and Kubernetes, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS


• Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks


• Previous experience supporting Equity Derivatives in a sell\-side or buy\-side environment, with a strong understanding of options and futures


• Understanding of structured products, including their pricing, lifecycle, and risk characteristics, along with strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast\-paced, high\-pressure environment
