We operate 24/7 and integrate with the world's leading futures brokers (NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Rithmic, TradingView, and more) across every major prop firm our traders are evaluated and funded by. We're a small, fast\-moving team building infrastructure that serious futures traders depend on every day. Now we're looking for a Software Architect to help us scale what we've built and take it to the next level.
The role
As Software Architect, you'll own the technical direction of our platform. You'll work across the full stack, from low\-latency trade execution pipelines to real\-time dashboards and community features. You'll make decisions that affect thousands of traders daily and set the foundation for the next phase of our growth.
This role is for someone who has strong opinions about system design, cares deeply about performance, and thrives in a fast\-moving scale\-up environment.
The platform you'll scale
Tradesyncer gives futures traders the full infrastructure to scale and improve, not just one tool. You'll own how trade copying, journaling, analytics, expense tracking and risk management fit together, and how it all plugs into the brokers and prop firms traders run on.

Tech stack

- Design and own the architecture of Tradesyncer's core platform: trade copier, journal, analytics, risk engine, expense tracking, and real\-time data systems.
- Build and optimise low\-latency trade execution pipelines in Rust and TypeScript.
- Architect scalable WebSocket infrastructure that streams fills across every supported broker and thousands of concurrent connections.
- Make infrastructure decisions across AWS and Azure, including caching strategies with Redis and database design with Supabase / SQL.
- Containerise and manage services with Docker, maintaining reliability across environments.
- Integrate AI\-assisted development workflows (Cursor, Claude) to accelerate shipping.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team on product direction and technical strategy.
- Set coding standards, review architecture decisions, and mentor engineers as the team grows.
- 5\+ years in software architecture or senior engineering roles.
- Deep experience with low\-latency systems: trading, fintech, or similar real\-time domains.
- Strong command of TypeScript / JavaScript, ideally Rust for performance\-critical components.
- Hands\-on with AWS and/or Azure, including infrastructure design and cost optimisation.
- Solid understanding of WebSocket architectures and real\-time data delivery.
- Experience with Redis for caching, pub/sub, and session management.
- Comfortable with Docker and containerised deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with Supabase or PostgreSQL\-based systems.
- Experience in or strong interest in trading: futures, prop firms, or related domains.
- AI\-native mindset: Cursor and Claude are a natural part of your workflow.
- Fluent in Dutch or English.
- Based in Amsterdam, on\-site preferred, working side by side with the founding team.
