JOB DESCRIPTION

A Social Media Manager for an events lounge / venue serving as the primary leader responsible for creating, scheduling, and overseeing a vibrant new programme of live shows within the Bollywood Events genre. This role bridges the gap between creative talent and business operations, ensuring that the guest experience remains high while maintaining financial profitability.

Core Responsibilities

  • Programme Development \& Execution: Plan and coordinate daily and nightly entertainment schedules, ranging from live music and DJs to themed parties and interactive events primarily directed in the Bollywood Events industry.

  • Talent Management: Source, vet, and book performers such as musicians, dancers, and specialty acts. This includes negotiating contracts and managing technical rehearsals.

  • Promotion: Oversee daily promotional activities in the lounge, ensuring the Website, Google, Instagram, Tiktok, X, Youtube have "high\-end" quality promotions / adverts / updates and that all align with the venue's brand standards.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse entertainment team, which may include entertainers, technicians, and floor staff. This involves creating rotas and conducting performance reviews.

  • Financial \& Resource Management: Manage the entertainment budget, oversee equipment inventory, and identify opportunities to drive retail and bar sales through entertainment offerings.

  • Safety \& Compliance: Ensure all operations meet health, safety, and licensing regulations, including public liability and performer safety requirements.
Key Skills \& Qualifications
  • Leadership: Proven ability to motivate teams and manage large groups in fast\-paced environments.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of current entertainment trends, technical stage requirements (lighting/AV), and hospitality service standards.

  • Communication \& Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with agents, clients, and staff.

  • Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and to solve operational issues quickly.

  • Experience in utilising Social Media Platforms.

  • Full mentoring will be provided.
