GROPATH EDUCATION CONSULTING LTD is a Birmingham\-based education consulting company supporting students and families with UK school admissions, university applications, tutoring, guardian support, school visits, interview preparation and education planning.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to manage GROPATH’s online presence on Xiaohongshu, WeChat Official Account and WeChat Channels. The role will focus on creating clear, trustworthy and commercially effective education content for prospective parents and students, while helping the company generate qualified enquiries for its consulting services.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and manage GROPATH’s social media strategy across Xiaohongshu, WeChat Official Account and WeChat Channels.
· Plan and create Chinese and English content covering UK school admissions, tutoring, university applications, Oxbridge preparation and school visit guidance.
· Promote key services through organic and paid campaigns, including young learner admissions, guardian support, interview coaching and document editing.
· Manage online comments, messages and enquiries from prospective parents and students, and pass suitable leads to the consulting team.
· Maintain regular communication with UK schools and education partners to stay updated on the latest admissions requirements, school news and education developments.
Required Skills \& Experience
· At least 1 year of experience in social media, digital marketing, PR or education marketing.
· Experience creating content for Xiaohongshu, WeChat Official Account or WeChat Channels.
· Strong copywriting, content planning and basic campaign analysis skills.
· Excellent Mandarin Chinese and good written English; knowledge of the UK education sector is an advantage.
· Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Education, Business, Media or a related subject.
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Birmingham (West Midlands)
