Social Media Manager (Casual)

Job Description

Fabulous magazine is looking for a creative, social media\-savvy individual to run the Fabulous Instagram and TikTok channels.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media and has a genuine interest in fashion, beauty, celebrity and lifestyle. Whether you've gained experience through work, or by growing your own social channels, we're looking for someone with fresh ideas, a creative eye and an understanding of what performs well on Instagram.

This is a casual role, five days per week, with three of them based at the London Bridge office.

Day to day you will:

• Manage the day\-to\-day posting on the Fabulous Instagram channel.


• Repurpose weekly magazine content, Fab Daily and Sun Club content into social\-first formats.


• Schedule content and ensure key editorial stories are promoted across Instagram.


• Use instagram stories to engage a bigger audience and interact with followers.


• Keep our Linktree updated with the latest articles from the newsletter and cover shoots.


• Support the fashion, beauty and celebrity teams with filming and editing content for social media.


• Stay on top of trends, celebrity news, fashion moments and viral content to identify opportunities for timely posts.


• Monitor engagement, reply to comments and help build an active, positive community.


• Use Instagram insights to help identify opportunities to grow the channel and increase engagement.

What we’re looking for from you:

• You have proven experience in social media, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.


• You are proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar mobile\-first editing apps) and have a knack for creating fast\-paced, visually appealing social video.


• You live and breathe social media. You have a deep understanding of platform algorithms, best practices, and the nuances of each channel.


• You are a natural creator with an eye for what makes content go viral. You're full of ideas and are not afraid to experiment.


• You have a genuine passion for fashion, beauty, celebrity, and lifestyle content and are eager to contribute to a leading brand in the space.
