Help Shape the Future of The Nursery Store

We're not looking for someone to post on social media. We're looking for someone who can help build a brand.

At The Nursery Store, social media and content are central to how we connect with parents, tell our story and grow our business. As we enter an exciting new phase of brand development and growth, we're looking for a Social Media \& Content Executive who lives and breathes content, understands what makes audiences engage and can create beautiful, compelling content across multiple channels.

We're looking for someone who understands that great content isn't measured by likes alone. It should build engagement, strengthen our brand and contribute to commercial growth.

We're looking for a talented Social Media \& Content Executive to lead our content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube. This is an exciting opportunity to join during a period of significant brand evolution and growth, helping shape how thousands of parents discover, engage with and fall in love with TNS and our house brand, Puggle.

This role is perfect for someone who combines creativity with curiosity – a content creator, designer, writer and marketer who understands how to bring brands to life through compelling storytelling.

The Role

You will take ownership of our organic social media channels and evergreen content strategy, creating engaging content that grows awareness, builds trust and supports commercial objectives.

From planning and creating content through to analysing performance and identifying opportunities for improvement, you'll play a key role in how our brand shows up every day.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow our Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube channels.

Create engaging social\-first content including photography, video, graphics, GIFs, reels and stories.

Develop and maintain a social media content calendar that drives engagement.

Write and manage evergreen blog content that supports SEO, customer education and brand storytelling.

Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates and emerging content opportunities.

Define, track and report on meaningful KPIs that drive learning, engagement, brand growth and commercial performance.

Monitor channel performance and use data, testing and insight to continuously improve content effectiveness.

Use testing, reporting and analysis to continuously improve performance.

Work closely with the wider Creative, Marketing and E\-commerce teams to support campaigns, launches and seasonal activity.

Contribute ideas that help strengthen our brand positioning and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

Demonstrable experience managing social media channels for a brand or business.

A genuine passion for social media, content creation and digital storytelling.

Strong visual eye and understanding of what makes content engaging, shareable and memorable.

Excellent written communication skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.

A proactive self\-starter who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen.

Comfortable working at pace and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Curious, adaptable and quick to learn new tools, platforms and ways of working.

Commercial awareness and an understanding that great content should ultimately support brand growth, sales and profitability.

A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing ideas and contributing to the bigger picture.

Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ambition to succeed.

Skills \& Experience

Social media marketing and content creation experience.

Strong design and creative skills.

Confident creating content independently from concept through to delivery.

Good understanding of social media analytics, reporting and performance measurement.

Experience using social media management and reporting tools.

Strong iPhone photography, videography and editing skills.

Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative tools.

Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.

Confident appearing on camera when required.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the next chapter of The Nursery Store and Puggle. You'll be joining during a significant period of growth and brand development, working alongside a passionate team that genuinely cares about creating the best experience for new and growing families.

The role is demanding, fast\-paced and varied, but for the right person it offers a rare opportunity to make a real impact, shape a growing brand and develop your career as part of an ambitious business. We care far more about what you've created than where you've worked. A strong portfolio of content, ideas and results is more important to us than a specific degree or career path.
