Bond Turner is seeking a creative, organised and commercially aware Social Media Account Manager to lead and manage the firm’s social media presence across key platforms. This role will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategic social media programme that strengthens the firm’s brand, builds trust with potential clients, and supports the wider marketing and business development objectives of the firm.
Working closely with the marketing team, legal departments and leadership, the Social Media Account Manager will plan, create and manage engaging social media content that communicates the firm’s expertise, highlights client success stories, and promotes thought leadership within the legal sector.
The role will also involve monitoring performance metrics, analysing engagement data and refining strategies to maximise reach and client enquiries. The successful candidate will combine creativity with strategic thinking, ensuring that social media activity enhances the firm’s reputation while remaining compliant with legal marketing regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy \& Planning
· Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the firm’s marketing and business development goals.
· Create and maintain a structured content calendar across platforms for LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
· Identify opportunities to promote the firm’s legal expertise, campaigns, events and achievements.
· Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
Content Creation \& Publishing
· Write and produce engaging social media content including posts, graphics and articles.
· Translate complex legal topics into clear, accessible and engaging content.
· Collaborate with solicitors and internal teams to develop thought leadership content, insights and updates.
· Ensure brand consistency across all social channels.
Account \& Community Management
· Manage the firm’s social media accounts, including scheduling posts and daily monitoring.
· Respond to comments, messages and enquiries professionally and promptly.
· Build and nurture an online community around the firm’s services and expertise.
Campaign \& Marketing Support
· Support marketing campaigns, events and announcements through targeted social media activity.
· Identify opportunities to amplify media coverage and firm achievements.
· Analytics \& Reporting
· Monitor engagement, reach and conversion metrics across all platforms.
· Provide regular reports and insights on social media performance.
· Use analytics to refine strategy and improve audience engagement.
· Stakeholder Collaboration
· Work with lawyers and internal teams to source relevant content and industry insights.
Requirements
Experience
· Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing or content marketing.
· Experience managing multiple social media platforms for a brand or organisation.
· Experience within a professional services environment (legal, finance, consultancy or agency) is
· desirable.
· Demonstrated ability to grow engagement and build audiences through social media strategies.
· Skills \& Knowledge
· Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into
· engaging content.
· Strong understanding of major social media platforms and how to optimise content for each.
· Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout, Buffer or similar).
· Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or video editing tools.
· Knowledge of analytics tools and data interpretation to measure campaign success.
· Understanding of social media trends, algorithms and content formats.
· Awareness of legal marketing rules and professional conduct standards (or willingness to learn).
