Social Care Worker/Residential Care Worker

Role Overview:

We’re seeking passionate and dedicated Social Care Workers/Residential Care Workers to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering individualised care to young people referred to our service, helping them grow, develop new skills, and overcome challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualised Placement Plans


• Support young people with educational activities, both at home and in school


• Maintain accurate daily records and communicate with parents, professionals, and referral agents


• Participate in team meetings, training, and service development


• Manage petty cash, assist with domestic routines, and contribute to a homely environment


• Uphold safeguarding protocols, confidentiality, and company policies

• A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant and related field that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.

• A full, clean manual driving license is valid in Ireland.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Knowledge of effective teamwork.


• Familiarity with the Irish National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres.
