Skilled Landscaper Contractor – Job Specification We are seeking an experienced and reliable Skilled Landscaper Contractor to join our team working on high-end private landscaping projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of landscaping and groundwork tasks to a consistently high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.

The role requires a motivated individual who can manage their own workload independently, take pride in maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and work collaboratively as part of a professional landscaping team.

Key Responsibilities • Carry out all aspects of hard and soft landscaping works to a high standard

• Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project specifications and deadlines


• Undertake paving, block work, brick laying, clay paver installation, sub-base preparation, and associated groundwork


• Operate landscaping and construction machinery, tools, and equipment competently and safely


• Take responsibility for personal workload, time management, and daily productivity on site


• Maintain site cleanliness, organisation, and health & safety standards at all times


• Work effectively alongside other team members to ensure smooth project delivery


• Identify and resolve practical site issues independently where appropriate


• Ensure all tools and equipment used are maintained in good working order

Candidate Requirements • Proven experience in high-quality landscaping and groundwork projects

• Strong practical skills across a broad range of landscape construction tasks


• Good understanding of site health & safety practices


• Physically fit and capable of carrying out demanding manual work


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach


• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship


• Full UK driving license preferred

Desirable (but not essential)

• CSCS card


• Relevant landscaping or horticultural qualifications


• Plant operation tickets/experience
