We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework based in the North West of England.
Location: North West of England
Hours: 45 per week
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative team where your technical expertise will directly support the successful delivery of important infrastructure projects. You'll work in a supportive environment that values precision, innovation, and teamwork, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the site team, supporting them in delivering works to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out site engineering tasks including setting out, surveying, and checking works against design drawings
- Supporting the coordination and planning of site works, ensuring technical queries are resolved promptly
- Maintaining site records such as daily diaries, as\-built information, and inspection and test plans
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members to ensure timely delivery
- Promoting health, safety, and environmental policies while ensuring compliance with site regulations
This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold a degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- You have previous experience in a site\-based engineering role within a relevant industry
- You're proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment such as total station or GPS
- You have a strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes
- You hold a full driving licence
