Overview
Atlas Site Engineering Ltd are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our growing team.
Based in the North West and operating nationwide, we provide setting out, site engineering, topographical surveys, measured building surveys, monitoring surveys, as\-built surveys and CAD services across a wide range of construction, civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a competent Site Engineer looking to join a growing company, work on varied projects and play an important role in delivering high\-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out and site engineering duties on construction and civil engineering projects nationwide.
- Establish and maintain site control.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Produce accurate as\-built surveys and site records.
- Undertake topographical, measured building and monitoring surveys where required.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and subcontractors.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with AutoCAD drawing production and survey data processing.
- Represent Atlas Site Engineering professionally on site to help maintain and build client relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer.
- Competent using Leica Total Stations and GNSS equipment.
- Strong understanding of setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, steel frames, groundworks and reinforced concrete structures.
- Experience using AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to travel and work nationwide when required.
Desirable
- Experience carrying out topographical surveys.
- Knowledge of survey data processing software.
- CSCS Card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
- Experience working on civils, infrastructure, renewable energy or commercial projects.
