Bedspoke is a growing design\-led furniture brand specialising in bespoke beds, daybeds, sofas and upholstered furniture. Our own EU production facility enables extensive customisation in fabrics, dimensions and finishes.
Our core market is the UK, and we also work with private clients and interior designers across the Netherlands and several other European countries. We are looking for an energetic, commercially driven Showroom Sales Manager who genuinely enjoys selling and has a strong interest in furniture and interior design.
The role
You will manage prospective clients from their first showroom visit or enquiry through to a confirmed order, while creating a personal and knowledgeable customer experience.
·Welcome showroom visitors and understand their style, space, practical requirements and budget.
·Present our collections, fabrics, finishes and bespoke possibilities with confidence.
· Convert showroom visits, online enquiries and existing leads into confirmed orders.
· Follow up proactively with prospective clients and keep opportunities moving.
· Prepare quotations, invoices and accurate order specifications.
· Manage the sales pipeline and maintain clear, up\-to\-date client records.
· Build relationships with UK interior designers, design studios and trade partners.
· Introduce Bedspoke to relevant designers and trade contacts within your professional network.
· Grow trade sales through consistent outreach, showroom appointments and long\-term relationship management.
· Coordinate closely with the founders, customer service team and production facility.
· Keep the showroom beautifully presented and commercially effective.
About you
We are looking for someone with meaningful sales experience, strong commercial instincts and the ambition to develop quickly. We value energy, initiative and results more than corporate titles or years of seniority.
· A natural salesperson who enjoys speaking with clients, following up and closing orders.
· Genuinely interested in furniture, interiors and design.
· Proactive, self\-motivated, agile and highly organised.
· Comfortable working towards ambitious monthly sales targets.
· Warm, polished and persuasive in written and spoken communication.
· Confident discussing pricing, dimensions, fabrics and bespoke options.
· Detail\-oriented when preparing quotations and recording customised orders.
· Able to work independently without waiting for constant direction.
· Comfortable in a startup environment where everyone is practical and hands\-on.
· Ready to take on broader responsibility as the company grows.
Experience
Previous experience in furniture, interiors, luxury retail, kitchens, property or another design\-led sales environment is highly valuable. Experience working with UK interior design studios, together with an established network of interior designers or trade contacts, is a major advantage.
Excellent spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of Dutch or Russian is an advantage, but is not essential.
What we offer
· Competitive base compensation with attractive commission on sales.
· A high\-impact role within a growing international design brand.
· Direct collaboration with the founders and our own production team.
· The autonomy to improve the showroom experience and develop new sales opportunities.
· Room to grow in responsibility and compensation as the business expands.
· A hybrid weekly schedule combining showroom presence with one remote working day.
