For Believers is exclusively searching for a Shopify Consultant on behalf of a fast\-growing Digital Agency in Amsterdam, specialised in eCommerce, digital experiences and Shopify solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Shopify professional who enjoys working closely with ambitious brands and translating their business challenges into smart, scalable eCommerce solutions.

THE ROLE

As a Shopify Consultant, you are the key link between the client and the internal project team. You understand the client’s commercial objectives, analyse their needs and translate these into clear functional and technical solutions within the Shopify ecosystem.

You have a strong understanding of Shopify and Shopify Plus, although you do not need to be a developer. You are able to communicate effectively with developers and understand what is technically required to turn an idea into a successful solution.

Working closely with designers, developers, marketers and project managers, you guide clients through implementations, migrations and optimisation projects and ensure that solutions are aligned with their organisation, customers and growth ambitions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise clients on the possibilities of Shopify and Shopify Plus.


• Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear functional and technical requirements.


• Analyse eCommerce processes including product management, checkout, payments, fulfilment, returns and international sales.


• Advise on Shopify apps, integrations and solutions within the Shopify ecosystem.


• Work with developers to determine how ERP, PIM, CRM, payment and fulfilment systems can integrate with Shopify.


• Create functional documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria and solution proposals.


• Guide clients throughout implementations, migrations and optimisation projects.


• Test and evaluate new functionality from a functional and user perspective.


• Identify opportunities to improve conversion, usability, performance and scalability.


• Conduct client workshops, demonstrations and training sessions.


• Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers and project managers to deliver complete eCommerce solutions.


• Stay up to date with Shopify developments, new technologies and eCommerce best practices.

• You have proven experience working with Shopify, Shopify Plus or a comparable eCommerce platform.


• You understand how modern eCommerce platforms are structured and how different systems and integrations work together.


• You have knowledge of areas such as Shopify Markets, checkout, payments, apps, product data, fulfilment and system integrations.


• You can translate technical concepts into clear and understandable language for non\-technical stakeholders.


• You are commercially minded and strong at analysing client challenges and translating them into practical solutions.


• You are confident in client meetings, workshops and presentations.


• You are structured, proactive and solution\-oriented, with the ability to manage different interests and dependencies.


• You enjoy working at the intersection of technology, eCommerce and customer experience.


• Fluent Dutch is a MUST. You will be advising and guiding Dutch\-speaking clients on their Shopify environment, so excellent Dutch communication skills are essential.


• You have a good command of English.


• Experience within a digital agency and/or with complex Shopify Plus environments is a strong advantage.
