As pur Shift Leader you naturally take ownership and feel responsible for both the process and the results. With your leadership, you provide direction, get people moving, and build a strong team working towards a common goal. At the same time, you work in a structured and precise manner, with a keen eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. You know how to organize, prioritize, and deliver — ensuring that plans are not only made, but also executed.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver production output in line with daily and weekly planning, ensuring stable and predictable execution;
- Lead operators, monitor progress, and intervene promptly in case of deviations;
- Ensure a safe working environment (priority \#1\) by enforcing compliance with safety regulations;
- Identify and manage risks and stop operations in case of unsafe situations;
- Safeguard product quality by working according to product specifications, work instructions, and procedures;
- Identify, follow up on, and structurally resolve quality deviations (NCR / OCAP);
- Lead the Daily Operating Model, including facilitating line meetings;
- Ensure accurate and complete shift handovers and translate priorities to the shop floor;
- Identify disruptions and waiting times within the process (ETO context).

You proactively address bottlenecks and ensure optimal factory flow by continuously setting the right priorities. At the same time, you are the driving force behind your team: you lead, motivate, and coach employees to help them perform at their best every day.
With your sharp insight and decisiveness, you ensure effective workforce planning, conduct focused performance discussions, and manage absenteeism effectively.
Also:
- MBO level 4 (Technical/ Process Industry/ VAPRO B\-C);
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a production environment;
- Experience working in a shift\-based environment;
- Knowledge of production processes and work instructions;
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems;
- Good command of Dutch and English.
