Setting Out Engineer

We are a growing engineering consultancy providing engineering support to groundworks and civil engineering contractors across the UK. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Site Engineer/ Junior Engineer to join our team on a project near Rugby, with the opportunity to progress onto other ongoing project

This role is ideal for an engineer looking to develop their career within a company where they will receive support, mentoring, and genuine opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for kerbs, foundations, drainage and external works.


• Carrying out QA inspections and maintaining quality records.


• Producing accurate as\-built surveys.


• Checking works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.


• Liaising with site management and subcontractors.


• Maintaining daily site records and engineering documentation.


• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to a high standard.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Site Engineer within groundworks or civil engineering.


• Competent using Trimble or Leica GPS and Total Station equipment.


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.


• Experience with QA documentation and as\-built records.


• Full UK driving licence.


• CSCS Card (essential).

Desirable

• Experience in civils, roads and sewers, external works or infrastructure projects.


• AutoCAD experience desirable
