Sessional Family Support Worker
Join Our Dedicated Team at FAASS
FAASS is a unique residential family centre providing 12\-week assessment and support placements for parents and their babies, where parenting support needs have been identified by Social Services.
Our service supports families facing a range of challenges. Babies may be considered at risk of trauma, neglect, or abuse, while parents may have experienced difficulties such as learning needs, substance misuse, or domestic instability that may affect their ability to safely care for their child.
Throughout each placement, our experienced team works closely with families, providing practical guidance, parenting support, and basic training to help parents develop the skills and confidence needed to keep their baby safe, nurtured, and thriving.
As part of our specialist assessment service, staff observe and record each family’s progress, working in partnership with Social Services and the Family Court to support positive outcomes for children and families.
Our team is proud of its child\-focused approach, commitment to continuous learning, and reputation for delivering a high\-quality service.
