About the Role

Nuvo Hotel Group is looking for an experienced Serviced Apartment / Airbnb Cleaning Manager with strong team management, recruitment and training experience to oversee our housekeeping operations across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large cleaning team, maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring properties are ready for guest check\-in and continuously improving housekeeping operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large team of cleaners and housekeeping staff.


• Recruit, interview, onboard and train new cleaning staff.


• Plan and manage daily cleaning rotas and staff allocation.


• Ensure all apartments are cleaned and prepared to a high hotel standard before guest check\-in.


• Conduct regular property inspections and quality\-control checks.


• Monitor staff attendance, performance, productivity and standards.


• Provide ongoing training, coaching and support to the cleaning team.


• Handle and resolve cleaning\-related guest complaints.


• Manage cleaning supplies, linen, stock and housekeeping equipment.


• Work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to report and resolve property issues.


• Create and implement SOPs, cleaning checklists and training procedures.


• Manage urgent cleaning requirements and last\-minute changes.


• Ensure cleaning teams consistently meet company standards and deadlines.


• Identify areas for improvement and implement more efficient housekeeping processes.

• Previous experience managing serviced apartments, Airbnb, hotels or short\-stay accommodation.


• Proven experience managing a large cleaning or housekeeping team.


• Strong recruitment, hiring and staff training experience is essential.


• Excellent organisational and time\-management skills.


• Strong leadership and people\-management skills.


• Excellent communication and problem\-solving abilities.


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment.


• High attention to detail and strong standards of cleanliness.


• Experience with housekeeping or property\-management software is advantageous.


• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Pay: £31,000\.00\-£33,000\.00 per year
