Service Engineer

Harold Engineering Ltd is a long\-established Irish company (founded in 1963 in Harold’s Cross, Dublin) that has grown into a prominent market leader across various industries including Compressed Air, Garage Equipment, Heating, Dust and Fume Extraction.

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team, focusing on service and maintenance calls across a large existing customer base. The role involves both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and hands\-on support to install, maintain, and repair equipment on customer sites.


• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules.


• Respond to reactive maintenance requirements promptly and effectively.


• Identify and implement improvements to preventative maintenance programs.


• Maintain accurate computerised and manual service records and reports.


• Liaise with service department personnel, suppliers, and customers.


• Report to the Service Coordinator for scheduling and operational requirements.

• Minimum of 2 years’ maintenance experience in a service environment.


• Industrial experience advantageous.


• Basic electrical knowledge beneficial.


• Strong problem\-solving and diagnostic skills with a hands\-on approach.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting abilities.


• Ability to work both independently in the field and as part of a team.


• Flexibility to travel to customer sites within Dublin and surrounding counties.


• Willingness to work flexible hours in response to reactive maintenance demands.

Pay: From €43,000\.00 per year
