About Wildcat Digital

Wildcat Digital is a full\-service digital agency helping ambitious businesses punch above their weight online. We bring together SEO, PPC, digital PR, content and web expertise to create joined\-up strategies that unlock sustainable growth.

We are a close\-knit, collaborative team where people are encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge thinking and take genuine ownership of their work. You will not simply be a ‘bum on a seat’: your expertise will shape client campaigns, strengthen our SEO offering and contribute to Wildcat's continued growth.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Account Manager to take the lead on a portfolio of client accounts. You will be the main point of contact for your clients, turning commercial goals into clear SEO strategies and making sure agreed activity is delivered to a high standard.

This is a hands\-on role for someone who is confident across technical SEO, content and performance analysis, but who also enjoys building strong client relationships. You will work alongside specialists across the agency, sharing knowledge and bringing new ideas to an industry that continues to evolve quickly.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and lead SEO strategies for a portfolio of clients, from discovery and planning through to delivery, reporting and ongoing optimisation.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, communicating clearly through meetings, calls and emails while building trusted, long\-term relationships.

  • Conduct keyword, competitor, audience and market research to identify realistic opportunities for organic growth.

  • Plan, brief, review and optimise high\-quality website content, and confidently provide constructive feedback on content created by others.

  • Audit websites, identify technical SEO issues and work independently or with internal and external developers to resolve them.

  • Monitor organic performance using relevant analytics, search and SEO platforms, translating data into clear actions and commercial insight.

  • Produce useful monthly reports that explain performance, progress, challenges and next steps rather than simply presenting numbers.

  • Manage priorities, budgets, deadlines and deliverables across your accounts, escalating risks early and proposing practical solutions.

  • Collaborate with PPC, digital PR, content and web colleagues to develop joined\-up digital strategies.

  • Keep up to date with search\-engine developments, test new approaches and share useful learning with the wider team.
SEO in an AI\-driven search landscape

Search is changing, and we want someone who is curious about what that means for clients. You will help us develop strategies that support visibility not only in traditional search results, but also in AI\-powered search experiences and answer engines.

  • Understand how AI Overviews, generative search and changing user behaviour may affect organic visibility, traffic and reporting.

  • Consider entity signals, topical authority, structured data, brand mentions and content quality when planning for AI\-assisted discovery.

  • Use approved AI tools to support research, analysis, ideation and efficient delivery where appropriate, while applying human judgement and fact\-checking every output.

  • Help test and improve Wildcat's approach to AI search optimisation, sharing findings honestly and avoiding unproven claims or shortcuts.

  • Handle client and business information responsibly, following data\-protection, confidentiality and internal AI\-use requirements.
What we're looking for
  • Demonstrable hands\-on SEO experience, ideally within an agency or across multiple websites or stakeholders.

  • Confidence managing client relationships and presenting strategies, results and recommendations in plain English.

  • Strong working knowledge of technical SEO, keyword research, on\-page optimisation, content strategy and internal linking.

  • The ability to interpret data, diagnose problems and turn findings into prioritised actions.

  • Excellent written communication and the confidence to review or critique content constructively.

  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and ownership of deadlines and deliverables.

  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in learning as search and AI continue to evolve.
It would be useful if you also have
  • Experience with platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Semrush and Sitebulb, or comparable tools.

  • Experience working with CMS platforms and communicating technical requirements to developers.

  • Knowledge of structured data, digital PR, local SEO, conversion\-focused content or website migrations.

  • Experience experimenting responsibly with generative AI or monitoring visibility within AI search tools.
