<div class="x_elementToProof">We are seeking a versatile, self-driven <strong>Senior Video Journalist </strong>to conceive, shoot, and edit original video content for Daily Mail's U.S. audience and global platforms.</div>

<div class="x_elementToProof">As a <strong>Senior Video Journalist</strong>, you will own stories end-to-end, from pitching original ideas and planning shoots through to filming, editing, and publishing polished video across DailyMail.com and social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.</div>

<div class="x_elementToProof">This is a hands-on role for someone who is as comfortable behind the camera as they are in the edit bay, with strong news judgment and a sharp understanding of what makes video work both on and off platform.</div>

<div class="x_elementToProof">We are looking for an experienced <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Video Journalist</strong> who combines strong news judgment and visual storytelling skills with hands-on production expertise and a clear understanding of digital and social video.</div>

<div class="x_elementToProof">4+ years of experience shooting and editing digital and social video, preferably within a newsroom, digital media company, or production environment.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Demonstrated ability to pitch, plan, shoot, and independently produce video-first stories from concept through publication.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Hands-on experience with cameras, lighting, gimbals, microphones, and other production equipment, both in-studio and in the field.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Strong understanding of visual storytelling and what makes compelling digital and social-first video.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Excellent news judgment and a clear understanding of the Daily Mail voice, audience, and editorial approach.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Proven ability to edit short-, mid-, and long-form content for digital and social platforms.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Experience producing vertical video and tailoring content to the requirements and audiences of individual platforms.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Strong writing skills, particularly for video headlines, social copy, and SEO-optimized supporting text.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus.</div>
</li>
<li>
<div class="x_elementToProof">Comfortable interpreting analytics dashboards and using audience and performance data to inform creative decisions.</div>

<div class="x_elementToProof">Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to switch priorities at short notice in a fast-paced news environment.</div>

<div class="x_elementToProof">Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with reporters, editors, producers, and global teams.</div>
