We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join our experienced team, assisting with client\-based solution deployment and support within our Workplace Technology team, with a focus on managed print services \& document management solution design, implementation and support.
Role overview
The Senior Technical Consultant will be responsible for the full technical lifecycle of Bizquip’s print management, secure print, cloud print, document management, and workflow automation solutions.
This client facing role spans solution discovery and design, implementation and integrations, project delivery, and ongoing customer support and managed services.
The successful candidate must have 5\+ years’ hands\-on experience delivering PaperCut MF deployments in complex client environments, along with proven experience implementing and supporting PaperCut Hive cloud environments.
The role also requires broader technical experience across print and document management platforms such as Tungsten ControlSuite, Tungsten Printix, DocuWare, MyQ, YSoft SAFEQ, or other related solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a strong technical problem solver who can identify customer challenges, design practical solutions, implement them successfully, support them post\-sale, and act as a senior escalation point when complex issues arise.
Key responsibilities
- Lead pre\-sales technical discovery, scoping, demonstrations, and solution design.
- Manage end\-to\-end PaperCut MF and PaperCut Hive deployments.
- Implement secure print, Find\-Me printing, embedded MFD applications, scan workflows, card authentication, cloud print, and reporting.
- Provide post\-sales support, implementation services, and escalation handling for print and document management products.
- Support pre\-sales and post\-sales across solutions such as Tungsten ControlSuite, Tungsten Printix, DocuWare, MyQ, YSoft SAFEQ, PaperCut MF, and PaperCut Hive.
- Design integrations, scripts, workflow improvements, and custom technical solutions for customer requirements.
- Provide remote, helpdesk, and field\-based support in line with customer SLAs.
- Support wider IT infrastructure including Windows Server, SQL, Linux, Plesk, VMware, Citrix, Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows, macOS, Linux, TeamViewer, and LogMeIn.
- Manage projects from design through implementation and support, maintaining clear and accurate documentation throughout.
- 5\+ years’ experience deploying and supporting print management applications, PaperCut MF.
- Experience with PaperCut Hive cloud implementations and support.
- Strong experience managing end\-to\-end server based \& cloud based deployments and ongoing post\-sales support.
- Strong knowledge of secure print, Find\-Me printing, print servers, print queues, embedded MFD applications, card authentication, scan workflows, and reporting.
- Experience with post\-sales support, escalations, integrations, scripting, and custom solution delivery.
- Strong infrastructure knowledge across Windows Server, SQL, Linux, virtualisation, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, networking, certificates, firewalls, and print services.
- Experience providing remote, helpdesk, and field\-based support to agreed SLAs.
- Strong project management, documentation, customer communication, and partner support skills.
- Tungsten ControlSuite, Tungsten Printix, DocuWare, MyQ, YSoft SAFEQ, AP Essentials, or similar platforms.
- ECM, document management, capture, workflow automation, or AP automation.
- PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL scripting, APIs, or workflow integrations.
- Ricoh, HP, Brother, or other embedded MFD platforms.
- PaperCut Print Deploy, Mobility Print, Site Servers, Web Print, Integrated Scanning, Scan to Cloud, and Cloud OCR.
- VMware, Citrix, Linux, Plesk, SQL Server, Wireshark, and advanced troubleshooting tools.
- Strong technical problem solver with a structured and methodical approach.
- Comfortable owning complex deployments from design through implementation and long\-term support.
- Customer\-focused, professional, and confident dealing with IT administrators, business stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
- Able to explain complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non\-technical audiences.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to support pre\-sales activity while maintaining technical accuracy.
- Organised, detail\-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects, escalations, and support cases.
- Strong documentation discipline with meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently on customer sites and collaboratively with internal sales, service, project, and technical teams.
- Proactive in sharing knowledge, improving internal standards, and developing repeatable deployment and support processes.
