Senior Supervisor / Assistant Manager
One Society is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team in a leadership role, operating mainly out of Hidden in Smithfield.
This position is ideal for someone with strong front\-of\-house experience, excellent coffee skills, a warm personality and the ability to help lead a busy brunch and hospitality operation.
You will play a key role in the day\-to\-day running of the business while also supporting staffing, training and operational standards across both venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the day\-to\-day operation of the restaurant
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee to a high standard
- Produce consistent latte art and support coffee training within the team
- Supervise and support front\-of\-house team members
- Assist with staff rostering, scheduling and timesheets
- Help coordinate staffing requirements across both venues
- Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
- Assist with menu implementation and seasonal updates
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
- Support stock control, ordering and supplier management
- Ensure health, safety and food safety standards are maintained
- Work closely with ownership to improve systems, standards and team performance
- Minimum 2 years’ hospitality supervisory or management experience
- Strong coffee knowledge and barista experience
- Confident producing high\-quality latte art
- Experience working in a busy brunch, café or restaurant environment
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities
- Positive, hands\-on approach to hospitality
- Comfortable taking ownership and solving problems
- Warm personality with strong team\-building skills
- Full\-time permanent position
- Must be available weekends
- 40 hours per week
- €16\.50–€17\.50 per hour depending on experience
- Bonus structure linked to agreed performance criteria
