The Role
As a Senior Go Engineer on the RPC Platform team at Quicknode, you will design, build, and scale the critical infrastructure that powers high\-performance blockchain RPC services used by developers and enterprises globally. This role operates at the intersection of distributed systems, Web3 infrastructure, and developer experience, requiring deep technical ownership and a strong bias toward execution.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and optimize high\-throughput, low\-latency backend services in Go.
- Architect distributed systems.
- Own end\-to\-end delivery from design through production.
- Improve uptime and reduce latency across services.
- Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and DevEx teams.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues.
- Drive engineering standards and best practices.
- 6–10 years of experience building and operating backend or distributed systems in high\-scale production environments, aligning with P4 expectations.
- Strong proficiency in Go, with a demonstrated ability to quickly adopt new languages and frameworks as needed.
- Deep experience designing and operating distributed systems, databases, and streaming architectures.
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, reliable systems with measurable impact on performance, availability, and developer experience.
- Experience working with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, or high\-throughput API platforms, including familiarity with RPC services, node infrastructure, or data streaming pipelines.
- Strong problem\-solving skills with the ability to debug complex, cross\-system issues in production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and deliver outcomes in fast\-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating across engineering, product, and customer\-facing teams.

Compensation Range: $171K \- $214K
