Senior Site Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Site Engineer to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves coordinating on\-site activities, ensuring project specifications are met, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, technical expertise, and excellent project management skills to drive successful project delivery. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between design plans and on\-the\-ground execution, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
You will be working between 2 Flagship Projects. Power Court (Luton Stadium) and Luton Hoo (Golf Course) Having the TWC (Temp Works) is preferrable.
Duties
- Lead on\-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues promptly.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools.
- Oversee land surveying activities and incorporate survey data into project plans using ArcGIS and other GIS tools.
- Manage project documentation including progress reports, site diaries, inspection logs, and change orders.
- Supervise the installation of structural systems and ensure compliance with engineering standards using Mathcad for calculations where necessary.
- Conduct site inspections regularly to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance; address any deviations immediately.
- Coordinate with land surveyors for accurate site measurements and boundary assessments.
- Assist in preparing detailed construction schematics and system design layouts for various infrastructure components.
- Support project management efforts by tracking milestones, resource allocation, and budget adherence.
- Proven experience in civil engineering or construction management with a strong background in site supervision.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation for drafting and design review purposes.
- Skilled in project management principles with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with land surveying techniques and GIS applications such as ArcGIS for spatial analysis.
- Experience working with system design schematics within construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and quality assurance procedures.
- Ability to perform complex calculations using Mathcad or similar engineering software tools.
- Strong understanding of CAD software for creating detailed drawings and schematics related to infrastructure projects.
Pay: £60,000\.00\-£70,000\.00 per year
