Community and Events Fundraising Manager – 37\.5 hours per week

Starting salary £43,863 per annum with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding up to £49,626 per annum.

At Keech Hospice, we're looking for a passionate and driven Community and Events Fundraising Manager to lead and develop our thriving Community and Events fundraising programme. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of some of our most important income streams, inspire a talented team and build meaningful relationships with supporters, community groups, schools, clubs and local organisations across our catchment area.

As part of our Public Giving leadership team, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering fundraising activities that drive income growth, strengthen supporter relationships and increase awareness of Keech Hospice within the communities we serve. You'll lead a team of dedicated fundraisers, oversee budgets and performance and use insight and innovation to maximise income and supporter engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery and ongoing development of Keech Hospice's Community and Events fundraising programme

  • Managing and developing a team of community and events fundraisers to achieve ambitious income and engagement targets

  • Growing community fundraising, supporter\-led fundraising, third\-party events and flagship campaigns

  • Building strong relationships with schools, community groups, clubs, local organisations and supporters

  • Managing budgets, forecasting performance and identifying opportunities for income growth

  • Driving exceptional supporter experience, stewardship and donor retention

  • Working collaboratively with Marketing \& Communications, Fundraising Operations, Finance and wider teams to deliver integrated fundraising activity

  • Using data and insight to continually improve performance and supporter journeys
What we’re looking for:
  • Significant experience within Community and Events fundraising

  • Experience of leading, motivating and developing teams

  • A strong track record of delivering income growth and achieving targets

  • Excellent relationship\-building, communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience of managing budgets, performance reporting and financial forecasting

  • A passion for supporter experience and building long\-term relationships

  • The ability to use insight, data and evaluation to improve fundraising performance

  • A collaborative, organised and proactive approach to leadership

  • Experience of using a fundraising CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics and knowledge of wider fundraising disciplines would be advantageous
