Senior Site Engineer (Civil)
Wills Bros Ltd are seeking an experienced Senior Site Agent / Project Site Agent to join our teams delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Ireland.
This is a senior site‑based role with responsibility for leading daily operations, managing multiple work packages, and supporting the Project Manager in delivering projects safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day‑to‑day site operations and multiple work packages
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification
- Support the Project Manager in planning, sequencing, and programme delivery
- Coordinate site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Drive compliance with RAMS, Method Statements, ITPs, and company procedures
- Lead daily site / whiteboard meetings
- Monitor progress, productivity, quality, and commercial performance
- Maintain accurate site records and contribute to monthly progress reporting
- Promote a strong safety culture and company values on site
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 5\+ years’ experience as a Senior Site Agent / Project Site Agent or similar
- Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects (roads, structures, heavy civils, or marine)
- Background with a main contractor or civil engineering subcontractor
- Strong knowledge of Irish Health, Safety \& Environmental regulations
- Proven ability to lead teams, challenge designs, and resolve site issues
- Strong communication and people‑management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 / Project / SharePoint
- Full driving licence
- Meet all regulatory security requirements, including clearance by national aviation authorities and An Garda Síochána to obtain and maintain airside security clearance and an Airport ID pass.
