Window to the Womb Gloucester is looking for a confident, organised and proactive Senior Scan Assistant / Clinic Supervisor to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, supporting colleagues and taking ownership of responsibilities, whilst still being hands\-on within the clinic. You will act as a key support to the Assistant Manager and wider team, helping to ensure the smooth day\-to\-day running of the clinic and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
This is a flexible zero\-hours position with shifts agreed via rota at least four weeks in advance. Evening and weekend availability is essential.
Pay: £13\.00 per hour
About the Role
As a Senior Scan Assistant, you will continue to undertake all Scan Assistant duties whilst also supporting the leadership team with clinic operations, administration, compliance and team coordination.
You will act as a senior point of contact during shifts, helping to ensure clinic standards are maintained and supporting the Assistant Manager in achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership \& Support
Support the Assistant Manager with the day\-to\-day running of the clinic
Lead by example and promote a positive team culture
Assist with training and supporting new team members
Monitor clinic standards and ensure policies and procedures are followed
Escalate any concerns or issues to the management team
Support with achieving clinic targets and objectives
Provide management cover when required
Reception \& Customer Service
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Welcome families into the clinic and create a memorable experience
Manage bookings, payments and customer enquiries
Answer telephone calls and respond to customer queries
Support diary management and appointment scheduling
Assist with resolving customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Clinic Operations
Support with stock management and ordering
Assist with audits and compliance checks
Help maintain CQC standards and documentation
Monitor cleanliness and presentation throughout the clinic
Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed
Media \& Sales
Import and manage scan images and videos
Produce prints and keepsakes for customers
Promote additional scan packages and products where appropriate
Support social media activity and customer engagement
Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and business performance
Chaperoning \& Scan Support
Support Sonographers during appointments
Complete wellbeing reports accurately
Build rapport with customers and provide reassurance throughout appointments
Handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately
Phlebotomy
Qualified phlebotomists are strongly preferred.
However, for the right candidate, full phlebotomy training may be funded by the clinic subject to a training agreement and minimum employment commitment following qualification.
