£34,106 \- £36,257 per annum (including typical sleep\-ins)
Hourly Rate:
£14\.67 \- £15\.79 per hour
Working Hours / Shift Pattern:
8:00 AM – 8:30 PM (Days) or 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM (Nights)
Flexible options available – Days, Nights or Hybrid working

Typically 11 sleep\-ins per month , paid at £45 per sleep

Qualifications Required:
Experience and/or qualification in Residential Childcare.
The Home:
Our client is looking for a warm, patient and reliable Residential Team Leader who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve positive outcomes.
You will lead by example, supporting both the children in your care and the wider staff team to create a safe, stable and nurturing home where young people can thrive.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working within an Ofsted Registered Children's Home.
- Has previous leadership or senior residential experience.
- Holds, or is willing to work towards, a relevant Residential Childcare qualification.
- Is passionate about helping children and young people achieve positive outcomes.
- Can build trusting relationships and remain calm, resilient and child\-focused.
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Leading and supporting Residential Support Workers during each shift.
- Supporting young people with daily routines, education and independent living skills.
- Building positive relationships and providing emotional support.
- Planning and participating in activities including trips, sports, creative projects and community activities.
- Creating a warm, safe and homely environment.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high standards of safeguarding and care.
- Working collaboratively with families and external professionals.

- A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is unavailable.
- A Level 3 Health \& Social Care qualification alone is not considered equivalent to the Residential Childcare qualification required for this role.
- Candidates with only Healthcare, NHS, CQC or Nursery experience will not be considered.
- Individuals with only CQC experience and / or who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
