The Role \& Your Impact
As a Senior Lab Technician / Bioanalyst, you will play a key role in supporting research activities through advanced laboratory techniques and assay development. Your work will directly contribute to understanding biological mechanisms and advancing innovative biosolutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform tissue culture work to support functional assays, maintaining high laboratory standards and reproducibility
- Apply microbiology and molecular microbiology techniques to support functional assays and investigate biological mechanisms
- Develop and optimize functional and analytical assays
- Plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments, ensuring high\-quality and reproducible data
- Conduct assays such as ELISA, RT\-qPCR, flow cytometry, and image\-based quantification, as part of a broader analytical toolbox
- Contribute to continuous improvement of assays and laboratory workflows
- Support ongoing research activities and collaborate closely with team members
To succeed in this role, you bring strong technical expertise and the ability to work independently while ensuring high quality and reliability in laboratory work.
Must\-haves:
- Relevant education as biotechnician, laboratory technician, bachelor in laboratory science or bioanalyst.
- Hands\-on experience with tissue culture and assay development, including independent planning and execution of experiments
- Hands\-on experience with several of the following analytical techniques (e.g., ELISA, RT\-qPCR, flow cytometry, microscopy, microbiology, TEER), with the ability to adapt to and implement new methods as needed, including contributing to experimental design and optimization
- Strong IT skills and ability to operate advanced laboratory equipment, including experience with laboratory software and data analysis platforms; ability to work with data beyond basic Excel
- Professional proficiency in English (Danish is an advantage)
The following are not required but will strengthen your profile and contribution to the team:
- Ability to independently plan experiments, troubleshoot assays, and propose practical improvements to workflows
- Flexibility to balance assay development and routine tasks
- Willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues
- Experience with molecular microbiology beyond basic techniques
- Experience with bacteriology and other microbiology beyond basic techniques
- Experience with 3D tissue culture systems (e.g., advanced cell culture models)
- Curiosity for new technologies and methods

This role is based in Lyngby and involves hands\-on laboratory work in a research environment.

- Work involves routine lab activities and standing during experiments
