This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced 360 recruiter who thrives on business development, enjoys building long\-term client partnerships, and wants the freedom to create a lasting legacy within a global organisation. Based from our modern office at One Station Hill, Reading, you will specialise in technology recruitment across Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Software Development, Data and AI, partnering with innovative organisations across sectors including E\-commerce, FinTech, FX Brokerage, Technology Consultancies, and high\-growth businesses. Working US market hours, you will have the opportunity to build your own market while leveraging the scale, brand, and resources of Halian and NES Fircroft.

What Youll Be Doing

• 360 Recruitment: Take full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle across contract hiring requirements within the US technology market.


• Business Development: Identify, win, and develop new client opportunities across the US technology landscape through strategic outreach, market intelligence, networking, and referrals.


• Client Relationship Management: Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers, founders, CTOs, engineering leaders, and technology decision\-makers.


• Technology Talent Acquisition: Source, attract, and engage specialist technology contractors across Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Data, AI, and emerging technology disciplines.


• Candidate Assessment: Conduct in\-depth interviews and qualification calls to assess technical capability, project experience, and cultural fit.


• Contract Recruitment Delivery: Manage the complete contract recruitment process from requirement qualification through to offer management, onboarding, and post\-placement support.


• Market Specialisation: Develop expertise across key technology markets including Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Software Development, AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Digital Transformation.


• Contractor Engagement: Build long\-term relationships with contractors throughout their assignments, supporting extensions, renewals, redeployments, and future opportunities.


• Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain highly active talent pools across niche and in\-demand technology skillsets within the US market.


• Desk Ownership: Create and develop your own market with the autonomy to build a broad, diverse desk rather than being restricted to a narrow vertical.


• Market Intelligence: Stay informed on technology trends, contractor rates, hiring activity, competitor movements, investment rounds, and emerging opportunities across the US technology sector.


• Coaching \& Mentoring: Support and coach less experienced recruiters, sharing best practice, market insights, and contributing to team success.


• Commercial Negotiation: Manage terms, rates, contracts, and commercial discussions to achieve successful outcomes for both clients and candidates.


• Collaboration: Work cross\-functionally to achieve shared goals, support client delivery, and contribute to the growth of the wider business.

• Recruitment Expertise: Minimum 4\+ years of recruitment agency experience with a strong track record within contract recruitment.


• US Market Experience: Experience recruiting into the US technology market or a strong understanding of US recruitment environments and working practices.


• Technology Recruitment Knowledge: Demonstrated success recruiting within Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Software Development, AI, Data, or related technology disciplines.


• 360 Recruitment Capability: Proven ability to manage business development, client relationships, candidate sourcing, delivery, and account growth.


• Commercial Mindset: Strong track record of generating new business and growing client accounts.


• Leadership Potential: Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting less experienced recruiters is highly desirable.


• Relationship Building: Ability to establish credibility and build lasting partnerships with both clients and candidates.


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.


• Results\-Driven Approach: Proven record of delivering revenue, placements, and consistent recruitment performance.


• Self\-Motivation: Comfortable operating autonomously and taking ownership of a specialist market.
