Recruitment Consultant – Construction Sector

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Recruitment Consultant with a minimum of 3 years’ recruitment experience within the construction industry.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, commercially focused, and passionate about building long\-term relationships with clients and candidates. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle while helping to drive the growth of the business.

This role offers far more than a standard recruitment position. For the right individual, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a senior leadership position and ultimately become a Director within the company, based on performance, results, and contribution to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business development and generation of new client relationships.

  • Managing and growing existing client accounts.

  • Sourcing, interviewing, and placing construction professionals.

  • Managing the end\-to\-end recruitment process.

  • Negotiating terms of business and placement fees.

  • Building and maintaining a strong candidate network.

  • Utilising ATS and CRM systems effectively to manage candidates, clients, and recruitment pipelines.

  • Maintaining accurate records, candidate databases, and compliance documentation.

  • Achieving and exceeding individual sales and placement targets.

  • Providing a consultative and professional recruitment service.

  • Keeping up to date with construction market trends and opportunities.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Recruitment Consultant within the construction sector.

  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and recruitment.

  • Demonstrable experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate management, and pipeline reporting.

  • Highly ambitious, resilient, and target\-driven.

  • A strong desire to build a successful career and progress into leadership.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build lasting client and candidate relationships.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • A proactive and self\-motivated approach to work.
