We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer Architect with strong software engineering skills and an innovation mindset to design and implement advanced quality solutions powered by hyperautomation and AI.

You will shape both the technical architecture and supporting processes, connecting functional requirements, reusable automation, test environments and AI agents across the SDLC. The goal is scalable, reliable quality engineering with measurable business impact.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design end\-to\-end Quality Engineering architectures combining automation, orchestration, integrations, test data, environments and observability.


• Define supporting processes, clear ownership and escalation paths, ensuring automation and AI decisions remain auditable and aligned with business risk and release policies.


• Develop hyperautomation workflows covering test design, data preparation, execution, failure analysis, maintenance, re\-execution and release evidence.


• Build and operationalise AI agents for requirements analysis, scenario generation, coverage assessment, failure diagnosis and controlled self\-healing.


• Embed quality controls into CI/CD pipelines, defining quality gates, risk indicators and feedback mechanisms for development and business teams.


• Define reliable test environment and data strategies, supporting repeatable, parallel execution in environments representative of production.


• Create reusable frameworks, accelerators and connectors; take successful proofs of concept into operational use, addressing scalability, resilience, security and cost.


• Collaborate with BQAs, developers and platform engineers to translate functional inputs into maintainable validation assets and coordinated workflows.


• Establish AI governance practices covering evaluation, traceability, privacy, human oversight and applicable compliance requirements.


• Act as a technical reference for teams and clients, supporting roadmaps, architecture decisions and adoption.


• This is a hands\-on architecture and innovation role: we need someone who can design the approach, build critical components and guide adoption, combining technical curiosity with pragmatic delivery.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Quality Engineering and test automation, with demonstrated ownership of solution design and implementation.


• Hands\-on proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript or Java, plus API, UI and integration testing.


• Experience with CI/CD, Git, cloud and container\-based environments; ability to integrate platforms through APIs, events and webhooks.


• Practical knowledge of generative AI, LLMs and agent patterns, including RAG, tool calling, evaluation, guardrails and agent observability.


• Ability to assess engineering trade\-offs across reliability, maintainability, security, operating costs and measurable value.


• Fluent Portuguese and English, with clear communication across technical and business audiences.

Valuable experience:

• Six or more years in Quality Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Automation or DevOps.


• Enterprise environments with integrated applications, multiple teams and frequent releases.


• Development of reusable engineering platforms or accelerators, and demonstrable application of AI beyond experimentation.


• Test data management, service virtualisation and tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Jira/Xray or Azure DevOps.
