The project: The role is within the chief infrastructure office of a semi\-state organisation in Ireland responsible for the delivery of high voltage station and circuit projects as well as upgrade and refurbishment projects on the existing transmission network. Responsibilities within this role will include managing these projects from conceptual phase through feasibility, statutory planning assessment and consent to handover for detailed design and construction phase. The role will involve a combination of office\-based working and visits to sites where assets are located across the transmission network.
You’ll be responsible for:* Applying strong H\&S expertise across the project portfolio.

• Managing quality systems and end‑to‑end project delivery to key milestones.


• Supporting senior leaders with timely project outputs.


• Overseeing budgets, risks and sustainable business practice.

• Managing design, consultant and project teams collaboratively to meet KPIs.


• Innovating, network and embed best practice using Mace’s knowledge platforms.

You’ll need to have:* Engineering degree with 6\-8 years’ power‑sector project experience.

• Strong stakeholder, commercial and vendor management capability.


• Proven expertise in strategy, innovation and high‑performance team development.


• Professional membership with strong analytical, IT and sustainability awareness.
