Senior Project Manager

We are hriing a Project Manager to join the technical production team. This is a project and initiative management role focused on delivering complex technology solutions that support Group and department strategic objectives.

You will be working closely with technology teams, third party suppliers, IT leadership and business stakeholders to agreed standards, driving infrastructure modernisation and operational improvement whilst maintaining a focus on risk management, service resilience and business outcomes.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work alongside the IT Production Heads, Team Managers and other Project Managers and other stakeholders to plan and deliver projects in line with the company / department strategy


• Take responsibility for project plan management, ensuring that change is appropriately managed


• Support accurate tracking of resource utilisation and forecasts


• Create and maintain high quality relationships with project stakeholders to ensure that all necessary contributors fully support project delivery


• Ensure appropriate management information, including timely reporting of project status, project accounting and resource planning

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience of managing projects from initiation through to full project acceptance


• Experience in an IT / technology / data centre\-based environment


• Knowledge of traditional and agile project management processes and techniques


• Experience with Atlassian tooling


• Technical stakeholder management and communication skills


• The ability to self\-start and self\-manage


• The ability to detect and resolve issues through effective collaboration
