The company holds contracts with major cities and transport authorities to design, manufacture, install and maintain high\-quality on\-street infrastructure, such as bus shelters and city wayfinding signage.

To support continued growth, the company is looking to recruit a Senior Contracts Manager to assist it’s West London team in the project management and delivery of a number of high profile London based contracts.

This role offers an accomplished Senior Contracts Manager the opportunity to lead the contractual delivery of high\-profile projects in an innovative and rewarding sector.

About the Role

As Senior Contracts Manager, you will join Trueform’s Contract Delivery team and oversee a portfolio of construction, installation and civils\-related contracts.

Based at the Hayes Depot in Middlesex, you will be accountable for delivering contracts efficiently, profitably, safely and to a high standard of quality, while driving continuous improvement across the function.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive contract\-delivery experience, preferably within the highways or construction sector, together with a strong track record of managing client relationships. They will combine sound commercial judgement with decisive operational leadership and a practical, hands\-on management style.

The successful candidate will champion continuous improvement across contract delivery, working collaboratively with departmental managers, contract managers, administrative colleagues, civils teams and street works maintenance teams. They will also develop strong, productive relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities \& Duties

Your main responsibilities and duties will include:

Contract Delivery and Operations

• Oversee the day\-to\-day delivery of contracts, supervising and supporting contract managers, administration staff, civils and street works maintenance teams.


• Ensure that appropriate project plans and programmes are in place and take responsibility for securing the resources required for successful contract delivery.


• Take accountability for all contracted deliverables, monitoring and reporting against contract KPIs, including the timely delivery and acceptable quality of completed works.


• Develop and maintain effective project\-delivery methods so contracts are completed safely, on time and to a high standard of quality.


• Act as a senior client\-facing representative, manage Trueform’s customer relationships and support technical and commercial meetings.

We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications and experience:

Required:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


• A higher education qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.


• Familiarity with a range of standard and bespoke forms and conditions of contract, such as NEC3/4


• Strong knowledge of construction, manufacturing and installation methods and materials.

• SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor and/or IOSH certification.


• Approximately ten years’ experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor.


• Experience in civils, highways, street furniture, rail or airport projects.

Competitive salary based on skills and experience.

• Full\-time working pattern, Monday to Friday.
