Help Launch a Brand\-New Urgent Treatment Centre

An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced and motivated Band 6 Senior Nurses/Practitioners to join our Emergency Care team and play a key role in the development of our brand\-new Urgent Treatment Centre, due to open in Autumn 2026\.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new service from the very beginning. Working alongside colleagues from the Emergency Department and wider multidisciplinary teams, you will help shape patient pathways, influence service development and establish a high\-quality, patient\-centred model of urgent care for our local community.

As a Band 6 Senior Nurse/Practitioner, you will act as a senior registered professional within the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre, providing expert assessment, triage and clinical decision\-making for patients presenting with urgent care needs.

You will be instrumental in ensuring patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time, while supporting safe patient flow and delivering high standards of clinical care.

As one of the senior clinicians within the service, you will also provide day\-to\-day leadership, support and supervision to junior colleagues, helping to foster a culture of learning, development and compassionate care.
