As our product and infrastructure scale, we are looking for a Senior Network Site Reliability Engineer to help strengthen the reliability, availability, and scalability of our production environment.
In this role, you will focus on cloud automation, Infrastructure as Code, network reliability, and operational excellence across our AWS infrastructure. You will help improve how we deploy, operate, observe, and govern cloud infrastructure at scale.

About the Role


The Foundations & Network team is growing to support Miro’s cloud infrastructure at scale. The team focuses on building stable, reliable, secure, and highly available solutions in AWS.
We own all Infrastructure-as-Code aspects and provide workflows to orchestrate automated solutions. We are also responsible for applying Governance policies and administration of our infrastructure resources on AWS.
<h4>What you’ll do</h4>

<ul>
<li data-list="bullet">Work with our AWS infrastructure to continuously improve how we operate.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Build and lead all aspects of our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub) and provide automated solutions for IaC deployment.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Implement automation and observability across infrastructure resources.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Bring your own ideas for improving our infrastructure stack and implement them.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Take part in our operational rotation to react and resolve incidents in production.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Maintain and develop the building blocks of our IaC terraform codebase.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Responsible for building, maintaining and optimizing Amazon Load Balancers, ensuring efficient traffic distribution and high availability for applications.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Configure and maintain Amazon CloudFront distributions to accelerate content delivery and improve end-user experience.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Develop and build Governance policies for our Cloud infrastructure.</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Maintain and develop our CloudWan infrastructure</li>
</ul>
<h4>What you’ll need</h4>

<ul>
<li data-list="bullet">8+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, reliability, networking, or software engineering</li>
<li data-list="bullet">6+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, ALB, S3, Route 53, and CloudFront</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Confident networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, BGP, IPV6 and hands-on experience with AWS Cloud WAN</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and production operations</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Strong Linux skills and proficiency in Python, Bash, or another scripting/programming language</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Experience driving cross-functional projects from concept to delivery in Agile environments</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and network issues</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams</li>
</ul>

<li data-list="bullet">Experience with containers and Kubernetes</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Familiarity with AWS governance and security controls, including SCPs and IAM policies</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Experience improving reliability, observability, performance, or incident response processes</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Exposure to large-scale CDN, edge, or traffic-routing environments</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Experience working in globally distributed infrastructure or platform teams</li>
<li data-list="bullet">Basic experience using GCP and Azure</li>
