<li><strong>Observability:</strong> A higher priority than scalability; code must be well-instrumented and traceable.</li>
<li><strong>Scalability:</strong> Understands how to design systems that can grow effectively.</li>
<li><strong>Leadership: </strong>Supports and mentors junior engineers; leads smaller initiatives.</li>
<li>Must communicate clearly and confidently in <strong>English</strong>.</li>
