Senior Mechanical Engineer Engineering Projects
Our client, a respected engineering organisation, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead technical project delivery across a range of innovative engineering solutions.
This role is ideal for a hands–on engineer with a passion for problem–solving, technical leadership, and multi–disciplinary collaboration.
The Role:
As a Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical), you will:
- Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for assigned projects.
- Lead technical delivery and coordinate with internal departments to meet deadlines.
- Provide engineering support throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including procedures, reports, and calculations.
- Support the business at client meetings and represent engineering interests effectively.
- Promote best practices in quality, safety, and engineering standards.
- Degree–qualified (BSc or BEng) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in engineering delivery within technically complex environments.
- Skilled in 3D modelling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Proficient in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and engineering calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident working cross–functionally and engaging with external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and QHSE processes.
