Senior Marketing Executive
*Purpose of job:*
Our aim is to become a market leader in the provision of Electric Vehicle charging solutions to Local Authorities and Businesses as part of our strategy to lead the transition to zero carbon.
The goal is to undertake an ambitious electric vehicle charging installation program, deploying high volume and quality EV installations across the nation. Our aim is to make the world a better place, one charge point at a time.
The Senior Marketing Executive works within Zest’s Marketing team to deliver marketing projects and activities as part of the wider marketing strategy. The role works with the Marketing team and other departments to achieve company goals.
*Key Accountabilities:*
The role is responsible for the following:
- Coordinate social media activity, planning content calendars and supporting the delivery of engaging content across relevant platforms
- Support the planning, execution and optimisation of paid digital marketing campaigns across relevant platforms
- Monitor, analyse and report on digital marketing performance, using insights to optimise future content and campaign activity
- Stay up to date with social media platform developments, emerging trends, competitor activity and industry best practice to identify opportunities for growth and engagement
- Conduct market research and utilise existing research to develop messaging and produce marketing collateral
- Build relationships with suppliers, partner organisations, public and local authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Investigate and drive new marketing initiatives to strengthen engagement with target audiences
- Provide actionable feedback on marketing campaigns to evolve messaging and delivery
- Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Manage resources, providing regular updates to ensure the early identification of any potential issues with projects
- Maintain brand consistency and tone of voice across all marketing communications and channels
- Plus, any other duties as required by the leadership team
- Manage marketing campaigns that support the company’s strategy
- Deliver campaigns that meet or exceed objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best possible materials and campaigns
- Internal – Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, Chief Development Officer, Operations Director, other members of marketing team, People Director
- External – Key external partners, external agencies, local authorities, external publications
- 2 years' experience in a marketing role
- Track record of delivering to marketing strategies
- Experience of working with market research data, data analysis and statistics
- Experience of working with and managing various social media platforms, websites, and email marketing
- Experience of using marketing software, tools, and apps
- Ability to communicate at all levels both internal and external
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Commercial understanding and business acumen
- Strong written communications
- Keen attention to detail
- Self\-starter, able to take direction as well as use own initiative
- Able to work at pace
- Flexible and adaptable

- Ideally degree qualified or equivalent (not essential)
