Senior Marketing Executive
Key Purpose of the Role:
To create and manage successful multichannel marketing campaigns that drive leads into the business building brand reputation with target sectors.
As a business reliant on leads, effective and impactful marketing is key to the company’s immediate and long\-term success. Ensuring an effective stream of leads whilst building a recognisable brand is crucial to the business’s revenue generation. This role also focuses on the business’ target growth areas. Responsible for:
- Creating campaign plans, combining media channels to maximise contribution to sales leads.
- Producing multichannel campaigns promoting business finance to target sectors, professionally representing our brand, build awareness and maximise lead generation.
- Hands\-on use of all channels including email, direct mail, social media, website content, exhibitions, print and digital advertising in support of objectives.
- Design and copywriting for each medium.
- Building measurability into campaigns and analysing the results.
- Day to day campaign management of the Portman Group’s sub\-brands.
- Management of Portman’s introducer programme including accountant referral scheme.
- Production of content for the company’s social media platforms including case study and exhibition related content.
- Production or running of exhibitions, which may include attendance.
- Other marketing and design activities as required by the business.
Requirements
Must have:
- 3yrs experience in a marketing role, preferably in a sales\-focused business.
- Experience of all major marketing channels and how to use them to best effect.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- A sound level of copywriting tailored to different channels.
- Experience of working with data and an understanding of measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with a test and learn approach.
- Attention to detail; ensuring flawless execution across all deliverables.
- Comfortable in a fast\-paced environment.
- Happy to challenge and be challenged, to collaborate and produce work of the highest quality.
- Proactive in pushing the business forward.
- Creative in both use of design and copy.
- An open communicator with a curious mind.
- Able to build relationships across the business.
- A problem solver, able to investigate issues and find solutions without always having to escalate.
