We're looking for a reliable, organised, and hardworking Senior Kitchen Team Member to join the team behind one of Leeds' newest and most exciting hospitality venues.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment and takes pride in producing consistently great food while helping keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Unlike a standard kitchen team role, you'll be trusted to independently open and close the kitchen, prepare for service, and maintain standards throughout your shift.

The Role
As a Senior Kitchen Team Member, you'll be responsible for food preparation, service execution, kitchen organisation, stock management support, and maintaining excellent cleanliness standards.
You'll work closely with the Kitchen Assistant Manager and wider management team to ensure food is delivered quickly, consistently, and to specification.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation \& Service
- Prepare food in line with company recipes and specifications
- Assemble and serve menu items during service
- Maintain food presentation and portion standards
- Ensure all dishes are prepared accurately and consistently
- Manage food preparation ahead of busy trading periods
- Assist with menu execution and quality standards
- Open the kitchen independently in line with company procedures
- Complete all opening checks and preparation tasks before service
- Ensure equipment is operational and service\-ready
- Prepare ingredients, stock, and stations for trading
- Complete end\-of\-day cleaning and shutdown procedures
- Securely store food products and stock at close
- Complete all closing checklists and records
- Leave the kitchen fully prepared for the following shift
- Maintain organised and efficient kitchen stations
- Support stock organisation and stock rotation
- Assist with deliveries and stock put\-away
- Monitor ingredient levels and communicate shortages
- Support smooth service flow during busy periods
- Work effectively with both kitchen and front\-of\-house teams
- Maintain exceptional cleaning standards throughout the kitchen
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Follow all food hygiene procedures and company standards
- Ensure equipment is cleaned and maintained correctly
- Keep the kitchen presentable, organised, and operational at all times

Experience opening and closing a kitchen, managing prep independently, or working as a senior team member is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.

- £12\.91 per hour
- 16–32 hours per week
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Fortnightly pay
